This free webinar hosted by scientifyRESEARCH is intended for any researcher interested in learning more about options for seeking funding. This webinar is co-organized in collaboration with Redwood Academy and UK Chinese Women Connect Association, and will focus on how to find funding to support global mobility for postdoctoral studies, funding to support the UN Sustainable Development Goals and funding for women in research. We will introduce you to our research funding database at scientifyRESEARCH and demonstrate how it works.

At scientifyRESEARCH, our mission is to help researchers get research funding and our vision is for a world where the best research and the most promising researchers are funded. We believe that the best research can only happen if we have a diversity of ideas. We believe that the complexity of the challenges that we face today as a society, requires large-scale collaborations. We also believe that fair and effective research funding starts with all qualified researchers having access to research funding information.

Redwood Academy seeks to be an open platform to spread knowledge, ideas, and information among Chinese students and scholars in the UK and worldwide for better understanding, designing and developing their professional career in the context of sustainable development goals, innovation and entrepreneurship, social integration in host and home country. It is delivered through lectures, seminars, and interviews to facilitate global citizenship, interdisciplinary thinking, participation and contribution to the global campaigns. Redwood Academy welcomes academia, professionals, and practitioners to share their expertise, knowledge and experience with the Academy members in the UK, China and beyond.

UK Chinese Women Connect Association is a charity based in the UK (registration number: 1193654). Their aim is to bring women in the Chinese community together to reduce the sense of isolation and loneliness, as well as to achieve racial harmony.
