2022 Administrative Supplements to Promote Diversity in Lupus Research (USA & Canada)
The 2022 Administrative Supplements to Promote Diversity in Lupus Research from the Lupus Research Alliance is a supplemental fund to support the recruitment of researchers from underrepresented communities in the biomedical sciences to join research groups with existing funding support from the Alliance or with an NIH, DOD or equivalent grant held by a lupus investigator who has peer-reviewed LRA applications in 2020, 2021 and 2022. There are no citizenship requirements but the proposed research must be conducted in the USA or Canada. Trainees should be currently enrolled in a science-focused bachelor’s, master’s or other advanced degree programs at an accredited institution OR within 2 years after receiving a bachelor’s, master’s or other advanced degrees (Ph.D., M.D.). Eligible PIs may request up to 30,000 USD to support the trainee’s research over 1-2 years. There are four assessment rounds in 2022, with deadlines on:
