2022 Silk Roads Youth Research Grant (global)

The 2022 Silk Roads Youth Research Grant from UNESCO supports early-career researchers worldwide, who are under the age of 35 and interested in research on the silk roads. Applicants must be postgraduate researchers, and may apply either individually or part of a research collaboration. Applicants with diverse expertise and backgrounds are welcome, including but not limited to:

  • Science, Technology and Traditional Knowhow
  • Religion and Spirituality
  • Language and Literature
  • Arts and Music
  • Traditional Sports and Games
  • Economy and Trade
  • The Legacy of the Silk Roads and Contemporary Issues

Up to 10 awards at 10,000 USD each are available. This is an annual award and the next applications close on May 31, 2022.
