The 2023 ACTERIA Early Career Research Prizes are supported by the European Federation of Immunological Societies (EFIS) and Fondation ACTERIA to recognize the achievement of early-career immunologists in Europe. Applicants must be members in good-standing of an EFIS-affiliated National Society and have less than 10 years of postdoctoral experience. Eligible applications are forwarded to the national committees, which can recommend one candidate for the prize. The ACTERIA Early Career Research Prizes carry cash awards of €30,000, plus the possibility of financing of €50,000/year for three-year research projects to be performed in European institutions, which can reach up to €200,000 for projects that are pursued by or in cooperation with institutions located in the following countries: Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Republic of Serbia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Turkey, Ukraine. This is a biennial award and the next applications close on December 31, 2022.
