2023 Diversity in Lupus Research Career Development Award (USA & Canada)

The 2023 Diversity in Lupus Research Career Development Award from the Lupus Research Alliance supports the career development of lupus researchers in the USA and Canada who are from underrepresented groups in science and technology in the USA. For the purposes of this grant mechanism, these racial and ethnic groups are Blacks or African Americans, Hispanics or Latinos, Indigenous American Indians or Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians, and other Pacific Islanders. Applicants must hold an MD, PhD, DO, or equivalent academic degree with a faculty or equivalent position and lead an independent research team at an academic, nonprofit, or government research institution in the United States or Canada. There are no citizenship requirements. The Award provides up to 150,000 USD per year (including 10% indirect costs) for 4 years. The letters of intent are due on September 1, 2022, and invited full applications are due on December 1, 2022.
