The 2023 Winter Pilot Award from the Simons Foundation supports researchers around the world with innovative approaches to autism research, especially researchers new to autism research. In particular, the foundation seeks applications that propose research to link genetic or other ASD risk factors to molecular, cellular, circuit or behavioral mechanisms and set the stage for development of novel interventions. All applicants and key collaborators must hold a Ph.D., M.D. or equivalent degree and have a faculty position or the equivalent at a college, university, medical school or other research facility in the USA or elsewhere in the world. The pilot award provides up to 300,000 USD, including 20% indirect costs, over 2 years. Applications are due on January 12, 2023.
