The High-risk / High-impact Grant from the Osteosarcoma Institute is a new funding program and supports researchers working on osteosarcoma. The Grant supports "bold new ideas that may fall within any part of a drug development path, and that seek to deliver curative outcomes to patients with osteosarcoma. These proposals will be most valued based on their innovation and the likelihood that the approach will target a true ependency in osteosarcoma." Applications are open to researchers based at non-profit organizations worldwide. Applicants must have an MD, PhD, MD/PhD, or equivalent and be appointed as faculty (or equivalent) at an academic institution. Applicants may apply for between 50,000 - 125,000 USD over 1 year, including up to 10% indirect costs.
Letters of intent are due on November 15, 2023. Invited full applications are due on April 12, 2024.
