The Adolescent skin disorders research grant from the Medical Research Foundation supports research that increases understanding of the mechanisms underpinning skin disorders relevant to young people and adolescents, leading to the development of treatment approaches and reducing the long-term impact on health and well-being. Researchers whose work will contribute to the understanding of the biological mechanisms involved in adolescent skin disorders, improve diagnosis and treatment, and/or impact on future outcomes are welcome to apply. Applications are open to UK researchers at eligible institutions (UK HEIs, Research Council research institutes, hospitals, and other independent research organisations). Applicants must hold a PhD, DPhil or MD and be an established researcher with a record of securing research funding. Applicants may apply for up to 300,000 GBP over 3 years (no indirect costs).
Applications close July 20, 2023.
