AHA’s Second Century Implementation Science Award (USA cardiovascular health)

The AHA’s Second Century Implementation Science Award is funded by the American Heart Association (AHA) to support early and mid-career investigators proposing innovative implementation science studies that align with AHA’s mission and provide optimal approaches to improving public health.

Eligibility:

  • At the time of proposal submission, the applicant must hold an MD, PhD, DO, DVM, DDS, or equivalent post-baccalaureate doctoral degree.
  • An applicant must hold a faculty/staff position up to and including the rank of associate professor (or equivalent). 
  • The awardee must devote at least 10% effort to this award. 
  • Be members of AHA and have the necessary permission to legally work in the USA

The award provides a total of 400,000 USD (including 10% indirect costs) over 3 years. Applications close on March 1, 2023.
