2022 ASH Global Research Award (hematology worldwide)

The Global Research Award from the American Society of Hematology (ASH) provides funding for early-career hematologists worldwide (except for applicants in the USA and Canada, who should apply for the ASH Scholar Award). The award is intended to support hematologists between completion of training and the establishment of their independent careers. The Award supports hematology research in the following areas:

  • Basic Research
  • Translational Research
  • Patient-Oriented Clinical Research
  • Outcomes-Based Research

Applicants must be ASH members and hold a PhD, MD, MD/PhD or equivalent degrees. PhD applicants should have at least one year of experience after graduation. Applicants may apply for up to 150,000 USD for projects spanning up to 3 years. This is an annual award. Letters of intent are due on August 31, 2022. Invited full applications are due on April 15, 2023.
