Biological vulnerability to extreme heat in maternal and child health awards (worldwide)

The Biological vulnerability to extreme heat in maternal and child health awards from the Wellcome Trust support ideas that improve the understanding of biological vulnerability to extreme heat in the context of maternal and child health. Applicants must be established researchers and leader of a research team. The team can include researchers from any discipline and needs to be interdisciplinary or transdisciplinary. The leader of the research team must have experience leading a successful research programme. In addition, the team leader must be able to contribute at least 20% of their research time to the programme. Applications are possible from eligible host organisation based in any country except for mainland China. The funding is up to 2 million GBP per award for 3-5 years (with a possibility to cover overheads and indirect costs). Applications close on August 8, 2022.
