Bridge Grants (USA alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency)

The Bridge Grants funded by the Alpha-1 Foundation support researchers working on alpha-1 antitrypsin (AAT) expression, and the pathogenesis/management of AAT deficiency. Applicants should have applied and been approved by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) but were not funded due to lack of available funding. Applicants may apply for up to 25,000 USD over 1 year (no indirect costs). This is an annual award and the next letters of intent are due September 30, 2022 and invited full applications are due February 17, 2023.
