2022/2023 Global Cachexia Research Grant (worldwide)

The 2022/2023 Global Cachexia Research Grant from Pfizer supports cachexia research worldwide. The applicant (PI) must have a medical or postdoctoral degree (MD, PhD, or equivalent), an advanced nursing degree (BSN with a MS/PhD), or a degree in Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, or Social Work. Applicant must be affiliated with a host institution. Basic science, pre-clinical research, and clinical research projects that improve our understanding of cachexia (unintentional weight loss in cancer or heart failure). The Grant provides funding of up to 250,000, including 28% overheads. Applications close on January 5, 2023.
