The Comprehensive Care for Adults with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus from Populations with Health Disparities grant funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) supports research projects focused on developing and testing healthcare models of comprehensive clinical care for individuals with Type 2 diabetes. Applicants must be program directors or principal investigators in a U.S.- based institution. Individuals from diverse backgrounds, including underrepresented racial and ethnic groups, individuals with disabilities, and women are encouraged to apply. This grant funds up to 500,000 USD plus indirect costs. The maximum project period is 5 years.

There are three cycles for awarding the grant. The upcoming deadline for the letter of intent (LOI) is on January 5, 2024 (30 days before the application due date). The submission of the full application is due on February 5, 2024, at 5:00 PM local time of the applicant organization.
