Ted and Elaine Welp Enhanced Career Development Program Award for Established Clinician-Scientists (ophthalmology worldwide)

The Ted and Elaine Welp Enhanced Career Development Program Award (Enhanced CDA) from the Foundation Fighting Blindness aims to ensure a stable pool of trained physician-scientists to address current and future research needs for inherited orphan retinal degenerative diseases. Applicants must hold an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree and a full-time tenure-track or equivalent appointment. Funding is available for up to three years at 170,000 USD/year (no indirect costs). Applications are assessed on an ongoing basis and applicants are encouraged to apply at any time.
