Challenges and Potentials for Europe: “Intergenerational Futures” (Germany and Europe)

The Challenges and Potentials for Europe: “Intergenerational Futures” program from the Volkswagen Foundation provides funding for research teams working on the demographic changes in Europe. Funding may be used for research and summer schools. The consortium must consist of 3-5 principal investigators from at least 3 different European countries, one of which must be Germany. The research teams should have expertise in humanities, cultural and social sciences (lead); natural, life, data and technological sciences. Projects may span up to 4 years. Funding of up to 1.5 million EUR is available per project (no overhead costs). Applications close on December 14, 2022.
