Clinical Research Training Fellowship (Pre and Postdoc in the UK)

The Clinical Research Training Fellowship is funded by the Medical Research Council (MRC) to support the research training of registered healthcare professionals, e.g.

  • nurses
  • midwives
  • allied health professionals
  • healthcare scientists
  • pharmacists
  • clinical psychologists
  • doctors
  • dentists
  • general practitioners

Veterinarians working on research projects with implications for human healthcare are also encouraged to apply. The Fellowship may be used for PhD training or postdoctoral training. Applicants must have the support of a research organization eligible for MRC funding. Applications are open to both UK and international applicants. International applicants should have a genuine commitment to the UK research effort beyond the end of the award. The Fellowship provides funding to cover salary and project costs for a period of 3 years.
