Realignment of Established Targets and Mechanisms for Delaying or Reversing T1D Grant (type 1 diabetes worldwide)

This Realignment of Established Targets and Mechanisms for Delaying or Reversing T1D is offered by the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) to researchers identifying and validating targets and mechanisms from other disease indications or disciplines. The funder welcomes new perspectives, approaches, and investigators into the search for targets and mechanisms to delay or reverse T1D. Applicants must hold an M.D., D.M.D., D.V.M., Ph.D., or equivalent. Applicants must also hold a faculty position or equivalent at a college, university, medical school, or other research facility. There are no citizenship requirements. This grant offers up to $750,000.00 USD, including 10% indirect costs, for up to three years. Letters of intent are due on August 23, 2022. Full applications must be submitted by October 4, 2022.
