Damon Runyon Fellowship Award (USA cancer research)

The Damon Runyon Fellowship Award is funded by the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation for postdoctoral researchers in all cancer research, including theoretical and experimental approaches to address cancer causes, mechanisms, therapies, and prevention. US candidates may choose to undertake their research anywhere in the world. Non-US candidates may only conduct their research at a US institution. The award includes a stipend and additional expenses for up to 4 years, starting at 52,000 USD per year (no indirect costs). The Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation will retire up to $100,000 of any qualifying medical school debt still owed by the awardee. There are two assessment rounds per year, the next applications open on January 15, 2023 and close on March 15, 2023.
