Develop sustainable cities and urban environments across Europe (UK)

The Develop sustainable cities and urban environments across Europe research grant is supported by Driving Urban Transitions (DUT), a Horizon Europe co-funding scheme, together with several funders in the UK, including the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC), Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC), and Innovate UK. Research projects should address key urban challenges facing cities in the transition to a more sustainable economy. The project team should be a transnational team from three different European countries, with the UK research team as the lead organization. The research element must be social science led, and the inclusion of arts and humanities and engineering researchers is strongly encouraged. Applicants may apply for up to 415,000 GBP for projects spanning up to 3 years. Outline submission is due on November 21, 2022 and full proposals are due on March 1, 2023 (to be confirmed).
