Diversifying Diabetes Research Talent in Academia (USA)

The Diversifying Diabetes Research Talent in Academia research grant is funded by the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) to promote a diverse workforce in diabetes research. Applicants must self-identify as members of underrepresented groups such as (but not limited to) racial and ethnic minorities, sexual orientation and gender identity, individuals with disabilities, and people from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Applicants must be working at US-based research institutions or universities and are within the first three years of their faculty appointment. Applicants may apply for up to 500,000 USD over 2 years, including 10% indirect costs. There are no citizenship requirements for this program. Letters of intent are due on November 2, 2022 and full applications close on January 26, 2023.
