Dr. Wilhelmy-GSO Travel Expenses Program (STEM job interviews in Germany)
The Dr. Wilhelmy-GSO Travel Expenses Program is supported by the German Scholars Organization (GSO) to facilitate the recruitment of international researchers to Germany by covering the travel costs associated with interviewing international candidates. The Program is open to the following institutions in Germany recruiting researchers from abroad in science, technology, engineering and medicine (STEM).
- public universities,
- university of applied sciences, and
- non-university research institutes
The program has no citizenship restrictions, and both German researchers abroad and international researchers are eligible. The program reimburses costs associated with travel to the job interview up to 2000 EUR. Applications are assessed on a rolling basis and applicants (i.e. eligible universities) are encouraged to apply at any time.
