EACR-Boehringer Ingelheim Postdoctoral Fellowships (Europe)

The EACR-Boehringer Ingelheim Postdoctoral Fellowships are provided by the European Association for Cancer Research (EACR) and Boehringer Ingelheim, to support postdoctoral researchers in cancer research. Applicants must be members of the EACR and are based at research institutions in Europe. Applicants should be working in one of the following areas:

  • Mechanisms of resistance to cancer cell targeted therapy
  • Targeted therapy
  • Antibody drug conjugates
  • Inducing cancer cell death, including immunogenic cell death
  • Senescence and immunosenescence
  • Mutated tumour growth drivers
  • Oncogenic transcription factors
  • Models of cancer cell: immune cell interfaces
  • Functional genomics
  • Targeted protein degradation

The fellowship provides 36 months of funding support with an annual stipend that is the mid-point postdoctoral salary at the host institution or 70,000 EUR, whichever is lower. The funding also provides an additional 25% to cover the host institution´s overheads. Letters of intent are due on May 11, 2022 and invited full applications are due on August 12, 2022.
