EFSD/Boehringer Ingelheim European Research Programme on “Multi-System Challenges in Diabetes” (Europe)

The EFSD/Boehringer Ingelheim European Research Programme on “Multi-System Challenges in Diabetes” research grant are funded by the European Foundation for the Study of Diabetes (EFSD) together with Boehringer Ingelheim. The grant supports researchers in Europe working on basic and clinical projects that

  1. Advance current knowledge in the inter-organ crosstalk and related pathophysiology in Diabetes and its complications
  2. Assess the adaptation and impact of guidelines-directed medical care in the management of diabetes

Applicants must be working full-time in a non-for-profit institution in any country in the European region and its associated States throughout the tenure of the grant. All applicants to EFSD research funding programs must be members of the EASD. The grant provides 100,000 EUR for 1 year or longer.

Applications are due on April 12, 2023.
