The Elise Richter Programme from the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) provides funding for the professional development of female senior postdocs aimed to enhance their academic career. After completion of this program, the recipient should be sufficiently prepared to apply for a professorship position, either in Austria or abroad. Applicants must have postdoctoral experience and international publications. There is no age limit. The duration of the program is 12-48 months. The Programme provides a postdoc salary plus research funding at 15,000 EUR per year. There are two rounds per year, with calls announced in the spring and autumn. Applications are assessed continuously and applicants are encouraged to apply at any time.
