EPSRC postdoctoral fellowship (UK | energy | mathematics | synthetic biology | physics)
This EPSRC postdoctoral fellowship is funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) and supports postdoctoral fellows in the UK. Applicants may be working in the following areas:
- energy
- mathematical sciences
- synthetic biology
- Stephen Hawking areas of research (physics)
Applicants may apply for funding of 3 years. The EPSRC covers 80% of the full economic cost of the project. Funds may be used for:
- equipment and other items needed to carry out the project
- costs related to impact
- travel and subsistence
Research grants are open to UK higher education institutions, research council institutes, UKRI-approved independent research organisations, Public Sector Research Establishments and NHS bodies with research capacity.
