The Equity in Access Research Grant supported by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) seeks to generate new evidence that can guide policy reform and changes in healthcare practice, in order to mitigate the impact of the social, economic and environmental disadvantages and reduce barriers to care in the USA. Studies must focus specifically on blood cancers, including leukemias, lymphomas, myeloma, myelodysplastic syndromes, and myeloproliferative neoplasms. Applicants must have a doctoral degree (PhD, MD, ScD, JD, or equivalent), are affiliated with a US public or nonprofit institution. Research teams from multiple disciplines are highly encouraged, including but not limited to health services research, public health, economics, sociology, public policy, political science, public administration, medicine, and law. Applicants may apply for up to 750,000 USD for over 3 years, including indirect costs. Letters of intent are due by September 16, 2022. Full applications close on January 13, 2023.
