ESCMID research grants 2023 (clinical microbiology worldwide)

The ESCMID research grants 2023 from the European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID) support outstanding investigators worldwide to pursue ground-breaking research in clinical microbiology and infectious diseases. Projects must be related to infectious diseases, including  fungal, viral, parasitic infections and diseases (covering all areas: diagnostics, pathogenesis, antifungal/antiviral/antiparasitic susceptibility & resistance, stewardship, and vaccines). Applicants must be members of ESCMID, hold an MD, PhD, or enrolled in a PhD program. Applicanst must be born after January 1, 1983. The grant provides 20,000 EUR (including indirect costs). Applications close on September 2, 2022.
