Exploratory Clinical Trial Grants in Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases (USA)

The Exploratory Clinical Trial Grants in Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases (R21) research grant funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) supports clinical trials that can be completed within a limited timeframe and budget. The clinical trial should be designed to address the prevention or reduction of symptoms and improve outcomes and function in patients with rheumatic, musculoskeletal, or skin conditions or diseases. Applicants must be program directors or principal investigators in a U.S.- based institution. Individuals from diverse backgrounds, including underrepresented racial and ethnic groups, individuals with disabilities, and women are encouraged to apply. The grant covers direct costs of up to $400,000 over a three-year period.
