Genomic Community Resources (worldwide)

The Genomic Community Resources (U24 Clinical Trial Not Allowed) from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) supports genomic research by disseminating its products to the broader biomedical research community. NHGRI supports both new and existing genomic resources of demonstrated broad value to the research community. Such resources include, but are not limited to, those that support: Genomic informatics toolsets, such as biomedical ontologies and analysis toolsets. Comprehensive identification and collections of genomic features, such as functional genomic elements and genetic assay results. Genomic community building efforts, such as standards development. Sample repositories for genomic studies, such as cell line repositories for high-value samples. Applications are open to researchers in the USA and worldwide. Applications are also open to small businesses. Application budgets are not limited but need to reflect the actual needs of the proposed project. The maximum funding period is 5 years.
