The Georg Forster Research Fellowship for Sustainable Development from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation provides fellowship funding for postdoctoral researchers from developing countries to conduct research in Germany. Researchers from all academic disciplines working on sustainable development are encouraged to apply. See the full list of countries eligible for this award. Applicants should have completed their doctorate within the past 4 years. The Fellowship provides stipend funding of 2670 EUR/month + additional benefits for 6-24 months. Applications are assessed continuously and applicants are encouraged to apply at any time. The application committee meets in February, June and October.
