Global Infectious Disease Research Training Program (USA & developing countries)

The Global Infectious Disease Research Training Program from the Fogarty International Center of the NIH supports joint collaborative training programs that will strengthen the capacity of a low/middle-income country (LMIC) institution to conduct infectious disease research (not including HIV/AIDS). Joint applications are encouraged from US and LMIC-based researchers. The trainees covered in the program must be citizens of LMIC countries. The Award provides up to 230,000 USD/year (including 8% indirect costs) for up to 5 years. This is an annual award and the next letters of intent are due on July 3, 2023, and the invited full applications are due on August 3, 2023.
