Interventions to Integrate Social Care and Medical Care to Improve Health Equity (R01 Clinical Trial Required) (USA)

The Pilot Interventions to Integrate Social Care and Medical Care to Improve Health Equity (R01 Clinical Trial Required) request for proposal from the NIDDK of the National Institutes of Health(NIH) supports pilot and feasibility trials to test interventions that involve screening for and addressing social risks during healthcare visits. Preliminary data regarding intervention efficacy are not required. The proposed pilot and feasibility clinical trials should lay the foundation for larger clinical trials.

Applications are open to researchers at research institutions in the USA. Applicants may apply for up to  300,000 USD per year for 3 years (no indirect costs).
