Heinrich Böll Graduate Scholarships

The Heinrich Böll Scholarships by the Heinrich Böll Stiftung (The Green Political Foundation) support graduate students of all subjects worldwide. Applicants need to be proficient in German (at least B2 Level or DSH2). Furthermore, applicants need a good academic record and political and social commitments. The funding is up to 861 EUR/month for the regular duration of your studies. The scholarship provides monthly study costs allowance of up to 300 EUR/month + potential family allowances + other benefits depending on whether the candidate is an EU national and whether the previous degree was from a German institution. Applications close every year on March 1 and September 1.
