Bridge to Independence Award (autism researchers in USA or Canada)

The Bridge to Independence Award from the Simons Foundation supports researchers with the expertise to address complex autism-related research projects who are starting their independent research laboratories in the USA or Canada. Applicants should be Ph.D. and M.D.–holding scientists who are currently in training positions but intend to seek tenure-track research faculty positions during the upcoming academic year. Fellows will receive 495,000 USD over 3 years, which will be activated upon assumption of a tenure-track research professorship at a U.S. or Canadian research institution. Researchers from groups who are traditionally underrepresented in biomedical research are strongly encouraged to apply. Applications close on February 28, 2022.
