The Independence Award from the International Rett Syndrome Foundation (IRSF) supports postdoctoral researchers working on Rett syndrome and in the process of transitioning to an independent research career. Applicants should have at least 2 years of postdoctoral experience and plan to seek independent faculty positions in 2023 or 2024. There are no citizenship requirements but the research must be conducted at a research institution in the USA. The Award provides 100,000 USD/year in funding support for 4 years, including 10% indirect costs. The letters of intent are due on May 18, 2022 and invited full applications are due on July 1, 2022.
