Integrated Physiology of Exocrine and Endocrine Pancreas in Type 1 Diabetes Research Grant (USA)

The Integrated Physiology of Exocrine and Endocrine Pancreas in Type 1 Diabetes Research Grant funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) supports research projects aimed at unveiling the interactions between islets and other pancreatic compartments in the context of healthy and diabetic pancreas. Applicants must be program directors or principal investigators in a U.S.- based institution. Individuals from diverse backgrounds, including underrepresented racial and ethnic groups, individuals with disabilities, and women are encouraged to apply. Direct costs of up to 500,000 USD/year will be funded for up to 5 years.

The letter of intent (LOI) is due on January 21, 2023. The submission of the full application is due on February 21, 2023, at 5:00 PM local time of the applicant organization.
