Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Research Fellowship (German researchers)

The Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Research Fellowship is funded by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation to promote further research training of German researchers in Japan. Applicants must be German citizens or are permanent residents of Germany and must not be citizens or permanent residents of Japan. Applicants must have received their doctoral degree within the past 6 years. The Fellowship provides a stipend of 362,000 JPN/month for 1-24 months. The selection committee meets three times per year, in February, June and October.
