The Mental Health Award: Understanding how anxiety- and trauma-related problems develop, persist and resolve from the Wellcome Trust supports research teams investigating the causal mechanisms through which brain, body and environment interact over time in the development, persistence and resolution of anxiety- and trauma-related disorders. Knowing more about these mechanisms will help us find better ways to identify these problems and intervene at an early stage. Applications are open to multi-displinary teams of researchers based anywhere in the world, except for mainland China and those in countries subject to international sanctions. The grant provides up to 4 million GBP over 5 years.
