New Horizons Grants (UK interdisciplinary teams to address cardiovascular challenges)

The New Horizons Grants from the British Heart Foundation is intended for bringing in interdisciplinary expertise to address cardiovascular challenges. The principal investigator should be a senior investigator at a UK research institution; one of the co-applicants must be an established investigator with non-cardiovascular biology expertise. Funding may be used for salaries, research consumables, equipment and travel costs, and is potentially renewable. Applicants may apply for up to 300,000 GBP for projects spanning up to 3 years. Applications are assessed on a rolling basis and applicants are encouraged to apply at any time.
