NIMH Short Courses for Mental Health Related Research (USA)

The NIMH Short Courses for Mental Health Related Research (R25 -Independent Clinical Trial Not Allowed) from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) supports creative educational activities for mental health-related research, with a focus on courses for skills development. Each short course is expected to include both didactics and hands-on research experiences. Participants are limited to graduate/medical students, medical residents, postdoctoral scholars, and/or early-career investigators. Unless strongly justified on the basis of exceptional relevance to NIH, research education programs should be used primarily for the education of U.S. citizens and permanent residents. Applications are open to researchers in the USA; applications are also open to small businesses in the USA. The funding provides up to 200,000 USD in direct costs for up to 5 years.
