The Paul B. Beeson Emerging Leaders Career Development Award in Aging (K76 Independent Clinical Trial Not Allowed) from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) supports early-stage physicians and other health professional investigators with a commitment to aging and/or aging-related diseases. They must show evidence of leadership in the clinical or research domain. This grant is specifically for applicants proposing research that does not involve leading an independent clinical trial, a clinical trial feasibility study, or a separate ancillary clinical trial. Candidates must also have a research or clinical doctoral degree, including but not limited to PhD, MD, DO, DDS, DMD, OD, DC, PharmD, Doctor of Naturopathy (ND), and DVM. Applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of the USA.
