Pediatric Research Grant (USA | physical therapy)

The Pediatric Research Grant from the Foundation of Physical Therapy Research (FPTR) supports emerging researchers exploring research projects in pediatric physical therapy that advances and enhances health or movement abilities for all individuals during infancy and childhood. The Grant funds the highest quality scientifically based and clinically relevant research with priority given to projects having the most immediate clinical application. FPTR defines “emerging investigator” as one who has not previously acquired a substantive extramural research award as an independent principal investigator. The applicant must work at a U.S. institution and be a US citizen or permanent resident. The funding amount is 40,000 USD for 1 to 2 years. Indirect or overhead costs are not included.

This is an annual grant – the letters of Intent are due on June 1, 2023, and the invited full applications are due on August 2, 2023.
