Pelvic Health Research Grant (USA)
The Pelvic Health Research Grant from the Foundation of Physical Therapy Research (FPTR) supports the advancement of pelvic health physical therapy. Studies should seek to do one or more of the following:
- Investigate the clinical effectiveness of therapeutic interventions
- Assess the interaction between patient characteristics and therapeutic methods
- Explore the scientific basis for interventions used in physic
The applicant must work at a U.S. institution. Applicants must be US citizens or permanent residents. The maximum funding amount is 40,000 USD for 1 or 2 years. Indirect or overhead costs are not included. Funds may be requested to meet any type of expense reasonably associated with the research project, including salaries and fringe benefits, purchase or rental of equipment, supplies, travel, publication costs, printing or postage, and special services such as computer time, photographic services, and secretarial or research assistant support.
