Pilot and Feasibility Grant (alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency)

The Pilot and Feasibility Grant funded by the Alpha-1 Foundation support researchers working on alpha-1 antitrypsin (AAT) expression, and the pathogenesis/management of AAT deficiency. The proposed project should generate new hypotheses and/or new methods in research areas relevant to AAT deficiency. Applicants may apply for up to 75,000 USD over 1 year (no indirect costs). This is an annual award and the next letters of intent are due September 30, 2022 and invited full applications are due February 17, 2023.
