Prevention and Population Research Programme Award (UK cancer research)

The Prevention and Population Research Programme Award from Cancer Research UK (CRUK) supports established independent researchers in the UK working on broad, multidisciplinary research with transformative potential in prevention and population research. Applicants must be a research scientist based at a UK university or research institution for the duration of the proposed award and have extensive postdoctoral experience, an internationally-recognized track record, and the ability to successfully run an independent research group. Applicants may apply for up to 5 years of funding to cover salaries of postdoctoral researchers, technical staff and PhD students (stipend and fees), associated running costs, and equipment costing up to £50,000. Preliminary submissions are due on September 22, 2022 and committee review is in November 2022.
