The Research Core Award: Non-rodent Large Animal Model for Inherited Retinal Disease from the Foundation Fighting Blindness provides funding support for individual researchers or teams of researchers worldwide for the development of large-animal models of inherited retinal disease or dry age-related macular degeneration. Applicants may apply for up to 500,000 USD/year for up to 3 years. Applicants must submit a letter of intent prior to submitting a full application based on a positive response from the Foundation.
