NEA Research Labs program (USA)

The NEA Research Labs program from the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) supports transdisciplinary research teams grounded in the social and behavioral sciences, yielding empirical insights about the arts for the benefit of arts and non-arts sectors alike. Applications are welcome from teams with diverse expertise, including but not limited to economics; psychology; education; sociology; medicine, health, and therapy; communications; business administration; urban and regional planning. Applicants must be affiliated with institutions in the USA, including universities. Applicants may apply for up to 150,000 USD for up to 24 months. The grant may not exceed 50% of the project costs.
