Pediatric Research & Training Fellowships for Clinicians (USA epilepsy)
The Pediatric Research & Training Fellowships for Clinicians from the American Epilepsy Society (AES) and the Pediatric Epilepsy Research Foundation provide mentored support for clinical fellows or clinical faculty who intend to pursue a career in pediatric epilepsy research. Applicants must hold an M.D., D.O., Ph.D., Sc.D., PharmD or equivalent degree. Applicants must be a clinical fellow, postdoctoral fellow, or newly appointed clinical faculty member within five years of their first full-time appointment at an appropriate institution by the beginning of the project term. Applicants do not need to be US citizens but the research must be conducted at a US research institution. The fellowship is for 1 year and provides 49,000 USD for stipends, 1000 USD for travel support to the AES meeting, and a 1-year complimentary AES membership.
