Short-term fellowships (cancer research | Italy)
The Short-term fellowships from Fondazione AIRC support early-career cancer researchers, including physician-scientists, in Italy to gain new research skills at another laboratory or hospital.
- Applicants must be 40 years old or younger;
- Applicant must hold a PhD or Specialty degree (“specializzazione area sanitaria”), or be enrolled in a PhD or Specialty program in scientific disciplines;
- Applicants must be working in the field of cancer research at a laboratory or hospital located in Italy;
- Applications must be submitted at least three months before the proposed starting date.
The fellowship provides funding to support travel and accommodation, plus additional expenses such as health insurance while abroad. Applicants may apply for up to 1500 EUR/month for 3 months.
